Modeling example of a trackside selective telephone

Railway signalling and telecommunications systems

BIM modeling of telecommunications systems in the railway sector is a relatively recent development compared to other MEP systems. Nonetheless, in several projects we have successfully implemented BIM modeling, allowing us to operate efficiently in the complex railway environment, taking
full advantage of that.

The 3D environment facilitates the design process by supporting designers in the development, analysis, and routing of ducts and cables, as well as the placement of equipment and all necessary components. This approach optimizes space and distances, while minimizing interferences with other systems right from the design phase.

Integration with other models is intuitive and seamless, and close collaboration enables requirements to be clearly defined during the modeling stage, preventing construction-phase issues.
